Write on students!

Send me your best original poem. Original means that YOU wrote the poem. Family members and teachers are also welcome to contribute to the Bridlemile poetry blog.

To get started, click on the comments link in the top right hand corner of this page. You will see that this link will take you to where all of the poems have been posted. At the bottom of the comments page you will see where you may submit your own poem. Just click on the “say it” button when you’ve finished writing.

If you use your real name, make sure you have permission from a parent or guardian. If you wish to use an alias put your alias in the name place on the comments page and sign your real name at the end of the poem. I will automatically take your name off of the bottom of the poem before I post it IF I see an alias in the name area.

Your poem should appear within a day or two at the most.  This is a safe site, as I screen all entries before they are seen in public.  I hope you enjoy both reading and writing here.

Thanks so much for participating. Let’s celebrate National Poetry Month together.
